Frequently Asked Questions
The Milégé World Music Festival is Uganda's biggest celebration of world music, culture, and community. It brings together artists from across Africa and the world to perform in a vibrant, nature-filled setting, featuring music, dance, poetry, storytelling, film, crafts, and traditional cuisine.
Dates: 1st to 3rd August 2025. Venue: Tropical Beach, Garuga, Entebbe (NEW VENUE!). Secure venue and beautiful scenery.
The festival is organized by the Milégé Afro-Jazz Band and supported by the Milégé Acoustic Project, alongside a network of volunteers, creatives, and cultural advocates.
Recommended items include: Your ticket or mobile code, valid ID, camping gear (if staying over), sunglasses, hat, rain jacket, comfortable shoes, wet wipes, mosquito repellent, and a power bank. Remember to label your gear!
For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, the following are not permitted: Outside food/drinks, weapons, drones or professional cameras (without a press pass), and violence.
Yes! Come with your gear or book a spot. Waking up to the sounds of the lake and morning music jams is part of the experience. Note: camping tents are available at the site at a reasonable fee on a “first come, first served” basis.
